Estill Middle School's 2017-2018 Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Mr. Michael Green for being named the 2017-2018 Teacher of the Year for Estill Middle School.  Mr. Green was born and raised in Smoaks, South Carolina in Colleton County.  He was also educated in the Colleton County School system.  He completed his undergraduate studies at Claflin University. Flu Vaccine Available for All EMS Students

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control is working with our school to provide the flu vaccine to all students.  Information was sent home with all students.  Please contact the school or see the attachment below for more information.

1:1 Initiative 

Our district will implement the 1:1 Initiative for grades 6th through 12th grades.  This initiative will provide each student with their own personal electronic device to utilize for educational purposes.  An information session will be held for all parents and students.  Please access the information flyer by clicking on the link below.

On May 26, 2016, our district hosted the first A.P.P.L.E.S Gala.  All employees were recognized for their years of dedicated service to our students.  The annual recognition of Teacher of the Year and District Teacher of the Year were announced.  Estill Middle is proud to have Mrs. Melinda Gordon to represent our school as the 2015-2016 Teacher of the Year.

    Career Week 2015

    Estill Middle School will observing Career Day December 10-11, 2015.  Our goal is to expose our students to as many professional careers as possible.   On December 11, there will be various guest speakers that will rotate to classrooms.  During each session, the speakers will provide our students with information about their career and the requirements to enter that field.  Students are encouraged to ask questions about the career.
